Key Business Partners:

City of Snellville & Careers You Create

The City of Snellville plays an integral part in supporting the educational pursuits of our students, especially in the areas of government and entrepreneurship. In support of civic engagement, the city has created the 'Snellville Youth Commission' which allows students to grow in civic leadership. The City of Snellville is equally committed to supporting budding entrepreneurs. They work with the entrepreneurship students throughout the school year, providing mentorship as students begin building their business plans and launching their businesses. Each spring, the City of Snellville hosts a Shark Tank competition, giving students a platform to pitch business ideas and earn funding.

YEG – Youth Entrepreneurs Georgia

South Gwinnett High School and Youth Entrepreneurs have partnered to encourage entrepreneurship amongst teenagers. Youth Entrepreneurs is an engaging elective course and alumni program that prepares students for success in the workplace and life. It opens the door to economic empowerment and places students on a path to prosperous futures for themselves and their communities. Youth Entrepreneurs transforms mindsets by opening students’ eyes to the opportunities that surround them and then giving them the necessary tools to go after them
